ICE Out Rally | Cypress Park Home Depot
2055 N Figueroa Blvd
Sunday 25th 12-2 pm sign up
Join us for our weekly protest against ICE Raids happening in NELA, LA, and across the country! We will rally with our Died in Detention Placards to acknowledge the impact of the Raids, with families being ripped apart and the senseless deaths.
ICE amped up the attacks on our neighborhoods in NELA these past weeks. We are continuing with the pressure to stop these brutal attacks on our community and across the nation.
These raids are a part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. We demand accountability for the killings and an end to ICE and CBP raids. We will not sit by while violence goes unanswered and our communities are terrorized.
We demand accountability, honor the lives lost, and will make visible the human cost of ICE’s actions.
Feel free to reach out to support the action or with questions. action@nelafordemocracy.org
WE MADE SOME NOISE these last 2 weeks people!!!!
This past Sunday 150 people marched and caravaned from Cypress Park Home Depot chanting with a drumcore through the neighborhoods in solidarity, joining up with the passionate neighborhood rally at York and Fig!
2 weeks ago hundreds of people, 4 news stations, 5 groups in coalition, 2 dozen police to make sure we didn't go into Home Depot, along with a helicopter... but those Died In Detention tombstone placards stole the show.
Thank you to all who came, supported, and participated in our largest, by far, protests as a group.

ICE Out For Good Rally | Died In Detention/During Raids Protest
Hosted by NELA Alliance for Democracy with NDLON, IDEPSCA, ICE Breakers, Human Liberation Coalition, and Boycott Home Depot.
Our weekly protest is joined up with the National ICE Out For Good to protest the 38 lives that have been lost in the past year alone: 5 during ICE Raids and 31 or more while detained.
Wednesday, January 7th, we all saw Renee Good killed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Another ICE agent had previously killed Silverio Gonzalez in Chicago, but without the benefit of shared videos.
These killings are a part of a broader pattern of unchecked violence, impunity, and abuse carried out by federal immigration enforcement agencies against members of our communities. We demand accountability for the killings and an end to ICE and CBP raids. We will not sit by while violence goes unanswered and our communities are terrorized.
We have a Died in Detention Toolkit we are sharing locally and across the country to illuminate those who have died at the hands of ICE and in Detention.
Justice for all 38 who died in the past year at the hands of ICE and in detention:
