SoCal Events & Actions

DTLA No Kings Rally & March - 50501 | SEIU

October 18th: Gloria Molina Grand Park, by LA City Hall - 2-5:30 pm

In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. Sign up here on mobilize.
Join us as we come together in unity. NELA AFD is a partner and will be there with LA Art Activism and La Monarca campaign for an early activation in the park.

Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.

The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

Home Depot Boycott | Protest

Every Sunday 12-2 pm - Cypress Park Home Depot

2055 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90065 Sign up

Help us put pressure on Home Depot, which is complicit in allowing brutal raids. We urge the public to boycott Home Depot as long as they’re permitting brutal immigration raids on their property. We are offering customers local Hardware store alternatives and asking people to bring in or email a letter to their local Home Depot managers.

Home Depot Manager Email-Writing Project - Get ICE Out of Home Depot!

Let your local Home Depot store manager know that you expect better and demand that they protect their staff, customers, and day laborers! Thanks for helping hold Home Depot accountable!

Use our email template here with English and Spanish letters. We’ve compiled a list of local store managers’ emails in this document. Copy the template in the document, replace the highlighted info with your own information, and feel free to modify the email to reflect your sentiments before sending it on to your local store manager.

An upcoming Emergency Preparedness Fair hosted by the Historic Highland Park Neighborhood Council, which will be co-sponsored by Home Depot, who will also be exhibiting at the event.

We are asking people to attend the next Neighborhood Council meeting THIS THURSDAY, October 9th at 6pm at the Senior Center at Figueroa and York, to encourage the Board to disinvite Home Depot. We welcome your presence! The Disaster Preparedness event is on the 11th. It is extremely unlikely that anything will be changed with such short notice, but we wanted our dissent to be part of the public record.

NO KINGS Signs of Solidarity Canvassing Toolkit

When businesses and communities stand together, we send a powerful message: immigrants are essential and welcome here. This guide will help you organize locally, engage business owners, and build visible, united resistance.

Download printable signs — one designates a private area for employees that ICE cannot enter without a judicial warrant, and others show public solidarity with immigrants. Print them, bring them to businesses, and help send a clear message that our community stands together against fear and intimidation.

The State of the People POWER Tour is a nationwide call to action; a movement to rally, restore, and reimagine what’s possible for Black communities across the U.S. Through powerful gatherings in cities across the country, we aim to activate a grassroots movement that amplifies Black voices, demands systemic change, and advances a national collective Black agenda rooted in justice and liberation – building toward the State of the People International Assembly on Juneteenth. This tour exists at the intersection of healing, resistance, and mobilization – recognizing both the urgency and power of our collective voice.
