Get ready for May Day!!
NELA Alliance for Democracy is joining the May Day action and tabling at MacArthur Park and marching to downtown, but is also supporting two events that weekend:
NO Concentration Camps CA
We had a great statewide day of action in LA for the NO Concentration Camps!
We gathered at the Federal building for a Rally and then marched around the block for a protest at the Metropolitan Detention Center. We then caravaned to the Adelanto Detention Center in San Bernardino.
We stood in solidarity against Federal overreach and private profit from senseless human suffering. With a presence at ICE facilities across the state, we are bringing ICE in CA back into the National conversation.
