A private company has the contract to keep more than 2,000 people caged there. Most have never been charged with or convicted of any crimes. This brutality and inhumanity cannot stand. On Saturday, March 14, hundreds of allies of immigrant rights will gather outside the prison for a “serenata,” a serenade, to honor and support all the immigrants who have been unjustly locked away in Adelanto, some for years.
The National Day Laborer Organizing Network is among the organizations leading a caravan from Pasadena to Adelanto that day. Families of detained immigrants will speak. A concert will begin at 4:00 pm
We are fighting for the safety of all, opposed to actions of this fascist regime and its illegal wars on those at home as well as abroad.
